Baseball Monger is a minor antagonist of Taiyo Sentai Sun Vulcan, serving as the primary antagonist of the Episode 7. He was an umpire/baseball-themed Monger creation at the service of the Machine Empire Black Magma.
Biography[]
Baseball Monger was created by Führer Hell Saturn and Zero Girls on the advices of Queen Hedrian for Black Magma. Hedrian's plan was to create a superstar by using the villains's corruptive methods in order to raise them up to prominence and then use their destructive power to influence and destroy society. The Monger arrived to Tokyo and assisted a Dark Q scientist in their plan to transform Shuichi Takase, an aspiring high school baseball player, into a beastial ballplayer by using a shower that enhanced his brute strength, but also potentially mutated him into a monster under Black Magma's control. Shuichi became brainwashed by the supervillains and became selfish, egotistical, rude and boorish bully. This plan eventually brought the attention of the Sun Vulcan Rangers.
When Shuichi was ultimately saved by a girl who wanted him to regain his kindness, which he lost in the process of partaking in the mutation, Baseball Monger began to attack Tokyo with Sun Vulcan superhero team were protecting the teenagers. The Sun Vulcan team then ultimately defeated the tactics of the monster and after that, destroyed the Monger first with their Sun Vulcan Ball, and then, after the monster's Expansion Program activated and ressurected him, the being fought the heroes in the giant battle, clashing with their mechas, before being eventually destroyed permanently with Sun Vulcan's Sun Vulcan Robo.
