Bad Bean is the secondary antagonist of Disenchantment.
She is a doppelgänger of Bean who was created by Queen Dagmar's manipulations.
She was voiced by Abbi Jacobson, who also voices Queen Bean.
Biography[]
Bad Bean has been stated to have all of the knowledge which Bean has ever collected and is as intelligent as Bean would be if she did not drink alcohol. During Part 4, Bean begins to have similar recurring nightmares which were later revealed to have been partially caused by Bad Bean. She is also revealed to have been influencing Bean's bad decisions.
She starts giving Bean nightmares where she kills her and later shows her a nightmare of the destruction of Dreamland before tricking Bean into killing her inside of the dream to allow for her to wake up and take over Bean's body. She then prepares to screw the crown into her head to fulfil the prophecy, but she is decapitated and therefore killed by Bean before Queen Dagmar and Satan arrive to perform the ritual.
Despite her death, Bad Bean's body was still active, trying to kill Elfo and permanently killing Jerry. Her head, meanwhile, was in Dagmar's possession. Once her head and body were reunited, Bad Bean was revived, her first act being to throw Cloyd and Becky (in their puppet forms) into a fire killing them, making Dagmar proud.
Bad Bean would remain by Dagmar's side as they worked to complete the prophecy and use the magic within Dreamland to conquer the world. During the battle between Dagmar and Bean's forces, Bad Bean once again taunted and manipulated Bean, deceiving her into stabbing her girlfriend Mora, whom Bean thought was Bad Bean. After Mora's death, Bean unleashes her full magic abilities, using it to kill Bad Bean for good.
Appearance[]
Her appearance is identical to Bean's. When not in Bean's regular attire, Bad Bean is also shown wearing a fur top and matching fur bottom while in combat.
