Andrew Wells is a major character in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and a minor character in Angel. He was a member of "The Trio", a group of self-proclaimed supervillains, along with Warren Mears and Jonathan Levinson. He eventually reformed, becoming an ally to the Scooby Gang.
He was portrayed by Tom Lenk.
Biography[]
Andrew teamed up with Jonathan and Warren to take over Sunnydale, doing multiple robberies together. Their crimes caused them to become enemies with Buffy Summers and the scooby gang, Andrew was a participant in making Warren's ex girlfriend Katarina a sex slave and helped cover it up after Warren murdered her.
Andrew plotted with Warren to do a robbery and leave Jonathan to take the fall but was betrayed and left to rot in prison himself. After Warren killed Tara McClay her girlfriend Willow Rosenberg sought revenge on Andrew and Jonathan but were protected by Buffy and her friends.
Andrew later returned with Jonathan who wanted to redeem himself but reluctantly killed Jonathan because The First Evil promised him to be gods.
Andrew ended up being taken captive by the scooby gang and was forced into helping them. Due to the fact that Andrew had a dark past he was treated with hostility and disdain by the scooby gang. Andrew later began to document his activities, portraying his history in a much more positive light than what actually happened. Andrew eventually had a breakdown over remorse in Jonathan's death with his tears helping to close the seal of Danzalther. Andrew took part in battle at the hellmouth and comforted Xander after his ex Anyanka died in the battle.
When Angel met a rogue slayer named Dana Andrew came to solve the situation, taking Dana with him and telling Angel that Buffy and her friends no longer trusted him due to his acquisition of the evil law firm Wolfram and Hart.
