Amphibidor is a robotic frog monster who serves as the main antagonist of the second part of the three-part episode "Thunder Strangers" of Power Rangers Ninja Storm.
He was voiced by Mark Wright.
Biography[]
Amphibidor was recruited by Zurgane to deal with the Power Rangers, he used his Polytrons on a lake to absorb the water, he converts Tori, she tried to morphed, but she does not have the Ninja Morphed so she has to fight him powerless, Amphibidor had made a beat down on Tori, right before he was about to make the final strike, Blake in to help out riding a motorcycle, he took the Polytron attack for Tori and was badly hurt, with Tori powerless and Blake wounded, Amphibidor made an escape, he then later return and battle both the Red, Yellow and Blue Ninja Rangers, and had the upper hand until the Thunder Rangers came and (much to Amphibidor confusion) attack him, Amphibidor was no match for the Thunder Rangers and was destroyed by the Thunder Blaster, the Thunder Rangers destroyed Amphibidor to return the favor.
When Amphibidor grows, the Rangers summon the Storm Megazord to battle this frog monster, he had the upper hand until they equipped the Ram Hammer to knock the Polytrons at back him, but he was not finished yet, the Storm Megazord then use the Ram Hammers ultimate move to destroy Amphibidor.
Amphibidor is seen in the alternate dimension.
Amphibidor is among the monsters freed from the Abyss of Evil by Lothor.
Personality[]
Amphibidor is an arrogant alien frog who likes to toy around with his enemies.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Teleportation: Amphibidor can teleport to any location.
- Mouth Gravity Bomb and Chain Wrap: He can fire purple and turquoise energy blasts from his mouth that can wrap his targets in a chain with a bomb attached to it, before levitating them and tossing them aside, which causes the bomb to explode.
- Eye Lasers: Amphibidor can fire powerful light orange-yellow energy lasers from his eyes.
- Polytron Spit: Amphidor's signature attack where he can fire out small tadpole robots called Polytrons from his mouth.
- Polytron Activation: Amphidor can activate his Polytrons by flashing his eyes red-orange, allowing them to use the following abilities:
- Water Absorption: The Polytrons can absorb water.
- Explosion: The Polytrons can explode upon contact with the enemies on command similar to that of a bomb.
- Dehydration: The Polytrons can also stick on and dehydrate the victim upon contact as well.
- Strength: Despite his appearance, he is strong enough to overpower the Ninja Storm Rangers.
- Extraordinary Leaper and Jumper: Being a frog-type monster, Amphibidor can leap at far distance and jump at far heights.

- Tube Claws: Amphidor has tube-like appendages for claws on his hands to fight his opponents with.
Trivia[]
- Amphibidor was the first monster in the franchise to be voiced by Mark Wright, who would go on to become one of the longest lasting voice actors in the franchise's history.
- Amphibidor is the first monster to be fought by the Thunder Rangers as well as the first to be destroyed by the Thunder Blaster.
- Amphibidor has a similar name to Amphibitor from Power Rangers Turbo. Coincidentally, the two are also both based upon a frog.
