Saori Joumae

Saori Joumae (In Japanese: 錠前サオリ, Joumae Saori ) is a major antagonist in the 2021 roleplay RPG game, Blue Archive. She is the leader of Arius Squad, the elite unit of Arius Branch School.

She was voiced by Shizuka Ishigami.

• She tried to kill Nagisa by ordering Azusa to destroy Nagisa Kirifuji's Halo that day.
• She colluded with Makoto, the student council president of Gehenna Academy, and destroyed the Cathedral of Tonggong, where the treaty signing ceremony was held, with hypersonic cruise missiles and bombs. Detonate the bombs that were previously planted on the airship and dispose of it.
• She shot Sensei, seriously wounding him. Furthermore, this is a very serious crime, as the act of attempting to murder the acting and deputy head of Kivotos, who is not partisan, but only neutral, and who is the head of state of Kivotos, is a declaration of intent to turn the entire school against the enemy within Kivotos.
• She mercilessly attacked Azusa, calling Azusa "a coward who can't give up friendship and has no intention of killing", then repeatedly shoots her to death and predicts that she will first brutally attack Azusa's precious friend, Hifumi.

Why She Doesn't Stand Out?[]

• She is extremely tragic. Along with Misaki and Hiyori, she is an orphan in the slums, suffers from severe malnutrition because she can't eat normal food, and she is subjected to all sorts of brutal abuse under Beatrice's control, and she also leads her to training in murder. The tragedies she suffered are the same tragedies suffered by child soldiers.
• Although she started a lot of terrorism within Kivotos, tried to kill Sensei, and attacked Azusa mercilessly, it was because Beatrice was threatening the lives of Saori's dear friends Atsuko, Misaki, and Hiyori, and if Saori obeyed Beatrice's orders, It was a desperate act because Atsuko, Misaki, and Hiyori would be killed by Beatrice if they violated it. As such, she fails the heinous standard, and since all of her heinous acts she committed were done under Beatrice's duress, Beatrice takes full responsibility for Saori's crimes. Saori didn't really want to be a villain, and all the evil she did was done under Beatrice's coercion, which makes her Villains by Proxy.
• She truly cares for her squad members Atsuko, Misaki, and Hiyori, and has also attacked them mercilessly, but she still truly cares for Azusa. She tries to keep Atsuko, Misaki, and Hiyori from being tainted by Beatrice's education, and she regrets that, unbeknownst to her, she has instilled Beatrice's thoughts into them.
• Ultimately, Saori redeemed herself. She went to Sensei and told him that Atsuko had been taken and that she was going to be killed as a sacrifice to Beatrice, crying out her helplessness and begging him, Sensei, to save Atsuko, even if it meant killing herself, Together with Mika, they tried to stop Beatrice's crimes and evil deeds, and if Beatrice's ambitions were thwarted, she would be punished for the crimes she committed, leaving Misaki in charge of the squad and living separately in the black market where they could avoid being tracked.
