History[]

Cloud, real name Kalea, is a young Psiot and a member of Generation Zero. Her powers allow her to confuse or distract someone by "clouding" their mind. She is usually partnered with the mind-controller Headspace, and together they are called Puppet Master. She was used as a child soldier by Project Rising Spirit until Generation Zero was freed from captivity by Bloodshot.

Later, she and the other Zeroes relocated to Rook, Michigan, summoned there by Keisha Sherman to investigate the death of her boyfriend, Stephen Seo. By searching through the Heroscape of Adele Poole, the daughter of the town's powerful Emergency Manager, the Zeroes learned that Rook harbored a deep secret: its advanced technology and wealth all came from the exploitation of Rasa, a young girl with the power to make her dreams into reality. After fighting against the Cornermen and an artificially-empowered Adele Poole, the Zeroes managed to liberate Rook from its corrupted leadership and turned the city into a safe haven for those who were being persecuted throughout the United States.

Alas, Generation Zero's victory was short-lived. Not long after their takeover, Rook was attacked by the H.A.R.D. Corps, resulting in the deaths of Cronus, Gamete, and Telic and the capture of the Zygos Twins. Kalea and Keisha attempted to lead the rest of the Rook kids to safety, but whether or not they survived is unrevealed.

Personality[]

Lacking the ability to control her telepathy, Kalea is constantly awash in the thoughts of everyone around her - Cronus describes the inside of her head as being "one infinite YouTube comments page". Consequently, Kalea feels that she is on an intimate basis with everyone, and chooses to view everyone else in the most forgiving, optimistic light possible, as a way of preventing herself from succumbing to depression or cynicism.
