The Shroud of Martin (マルティーンの聖骸布, Marutin no Seigaifu?) is a Holy Shroud Mystic Code.
Characteristics[]
The Shroud of Martin possesses the characteristic of sealing a "certain event" or returning it to normal. Its function can be likened to an air purifier.[1] It possesses the capacity to halt the destruction of Shirou Emiya's body due to the influence of Archer's arm for up to ten years. Keeping the Magic Circuits of the arm from connecting to his own, it treats the arm as a "different object" when he utilizes Magecraft.[2]
At least one portion of the Holy Shroud has been taken as of the early 2000s, obtained by Kirei Kotomine and hidden away during his work as an Executor for the Holy Church.[3]
