Deinos: Dinosaur Humanity (恐竜人類, Kyōryū Jinrui?) are the Prime Species of the South American Lostbelt. Although appearing to be evolved herbivorous Dinosaurs and descendants of TheropodsWP, they are actually plant-animal hybrids made by the "Divine Filaments" of the meteor.
Characteristics[]
In addition to their high intelligence said by Da Vinci to be on the scale of supercomputers,[1] they possess dinosaur-like physical strength, chameleon-esque camouflage, thought-based communication, the ability to nullify physical shockwaves with biowaves which Da Vinci describes as like electromagnetic armor,[2] and while they are herbivorous and subsist on corn, they don't actually need to consume it to function and mainly gain energy through photosynthesis, needing only sunlight and water. Desiring a luxury treat, however, the Deinos had Malla create corn for them, the one and only food they eat for pleasure. Some of them may also possess the Carrier divine blood contagion, allowing them to replicate Mysteries from the Age of Gods, similar to the human Carriers of Proper Human History. They are considered perfected intelligent life, and proof of Kirschtaria Wodime's ideal of a "mankind with no need for conflict", each Deinos being strong enough to not need to compete for resources.[3]
Deinos are considered at least part-Dragons,[4] and are called Dragons by the Ka'an Kingdom.[5] Whether the Dinosaurs of Proper Human History are also considered part-Dragons is unknown.

Large Deinos[]
Large Deinos (大型ディノス, Ougata Dinosu?) are Deinos that appears in the South American Lostbelt in Fate/Grand Order.
Dead Apostle Deinos[]
Dead Apostle Deinos (死徒ディノス, Shito Dinosu?) are Deinos that appears in the South American Lostbelt in Fate/Grand Order. These Deinos were turned by Camazotz into Dead Apostle. Initially believed to simply be unintelligent dinosaurs, these Deinos have had their brains deteriorated and lost their intelligence, and are now neither living nor dead. Tepeu describes them as the jungle's malignant tumours that hunt animals around them to convert them into energy. They cannot be communicated with, and the only options when encountered are to run or to stop them.[6]
Sion Eltnam Sokaris states they are Vampires, and had their blood sucked out by another Vampire to become one. She states that the lack of intelligence and shambling walk means they are Ghouls, akin to shambling corpses that instinctively seek blood, meaning they are lower-tier Familiars of a Vampire that have been given some of that Vampire's immortal blood. When killed, they disintegrate into dust.[2]
