Do we want to move this article to "Remold"? a number of sites have a link to "Remold", and that seems to be the more common term. --FortMax 06:06, 10 April 2006 (UTC)

I would prefer retool. --ItsWalky 06:26, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
I just realized how dumb my reply was, since this article was mine to begin with. YEAH I AGREE WITH ME. HOORAY. --ItsWalky 06:26, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
Retool is the terminology used by the people who actually make the toys, and hence much preferable in my mind. We should, of course, have a redirect from remold to retool, and a note (once it's no longer a stub) that sometimes people say remold instead. --Steve-o 19:04, 10 April 2006 (UTC)

Magnus Retool[]

I was under the impression that Magnus was a retool, just one that was included on all subsequent releases of the cab's mold. The front wheels, right?--RosicrucianTalk 21:36, 20 June 2008 (UTC)

I've.... never heard of that. Maybe it's true, I dunno. But, arbitrarily and capriciously using myself as the yardstick of common knowledge, I'm gonna say that whatever changes were made to Magnus aren't nearly as well-known or obvious as the 84/85 cars and 84/86 mini-cars. -- Repowers 21:39, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
I can't recall if the peg on the front wheels of the Convoy cab were in the first release of the mold. I do know they seemed only to exist as a way to stabilize the connection on the Powered Convoy/Ultra Magnus trailer, and were present in all subsequent releases.--RosicrucianTalk 22:09, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
