You know, I'm thinking we need to figure out how we're going too handle the REST of the Club magazine/Newsletter content. Is it really necessary to have the comic portion on a separate page from the other content? Change this main page to "(magazine)" (noting it used to be "newsletter"), start with a brief bullet-point list of contents, like, to use #13 as an example...
- Interview with Peter Cullen
- Interview with Bob Harper + Titanium Series preview
- "Micro-Sized" (Mini Mayhem, Lil Formers, Giant Planet Mini-Con Team bios)
- 9k, Overshoot & Swithcblade bios.
- Classics Grimlock & Mirgae bios
- "Black Sea of Sandokan" preview
Then move on to the usual comic overview. We can make the pages under each comics' name into a redirect so we don't have to change storylinks everywhere... I wonder, can a redirect start you at a sub-heading?
Any rate this way, I think that with the increase of Club fictional content, linking to issues of the newsletter/magazine for References will be smoother --M Sipher 16:28, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
- Your suggestion sounds okay to me, but I think it might be better to still have the comics on their own pages while also having pages for each issue of the magazine. We can then make sure they link to each other. "For this issue's comic story, see whatever." I imagine people are going to be more interested in looking up the comic content than a list of what features were in a given issue, so I can see listing them separately. Also, yes, you can redirect to a section heading. --Steve-o 18:54, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
Games of Deception[]
I don't think it belongs on this page. It happens chronologically after Crossing Over, but it's not a fan club issue, so listing it in the table with them is misleading. --ItsWalky 17:04, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
Continuity?[]
May I ask where it was said Crossing Over takes place after the G1 comics? Mechabreaker Prime 00:30, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
- I would think the countless references to the Underbase Saga and the final battle on Klo might be a hint. --ItsWalky 03:11, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
- Oh oh oh oh. Also, that one time that the writers said it was a continuation of the Marvel Comics. And the BotCon 2007 brochure. And everyone ever! --ItsWalky 03:12, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
- O rly? How did they get the new bodies? Not having read the G1 comics, but I would imagine some of the Classics charachters had died... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mechabreaker Prime (talk • contribs).
- Nearly all of them had new page-sized profiles which explained in detail where they got their new bodies. Most new bodies were due to being rebuilt after the Underbase Saga. There is absolutely no ambiguity as to which universe this is intended to be placed in. (Despite the sudden and terrible inclusion of Elita-One, and Mirage's cartoon powers.) --ItsWalky 00:58, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
- Well, and Springer and Ultra Magnus...--RosicrucianTalk 01:00, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
- Springer and Magnus were totally in Marvel continuity! Just... not those versions. For no perceptible reason. It increases anger. --ItsWalky 01:27, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

So, Bumblebee, Optimus, Megs, Starscream, etc. never died in the G1 comics? Mechabreaker Prime 00:36, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
- You want to unpack that one for us? --M Sipher 01:19, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
- Which time? -Derik 01:33, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
- What? Mechabreaker Prime 15:47, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
- They all died, and they all came back by the end of the original run. (Well, Megatron and Starscream came back in G2, which doesn't count here, but it proves it's POSSIBLE.) I'm not really sure what you're getting at. Are you positive you're familiar enough with the Marvel continuity to debate this? I mean, Bumblebee and Optimus Prime were definitely alive at the end of the very last issue. And the last issue was entirely about Optimus Prime coming back from the dead and winning everything! Why do you challenge us on things you obviously don't know enough about? --ItsWalky 16:39, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
- Megs died TWICE in Marvel G1. Starscream THREE TIMES. So yeah. --M Sipher 21:43, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
Ok dude, no need to get pissed. I was not challenging you at all about it. I merely thought, that IF the characters died in the Marvel G1 comics, how are they alive now? I mean, that's not what I mean, I know that they can die and come back to life, but it's never really explained how. We go from Megs being dead (according to you) in the G1 comics, to him having an entire new body and alt mode, just showing up out of the clear blue. I would never have started the discussion if it was explained how/why. Now I know they were rebuilt after the Underbase saga, all of them, right? I don't want to start an arguement at all, I was merely seeking answers. (I don't usually read the profiles, as I never read the G1 comics, lol.):) BTW, anyone know if/when a Crossing Over TPB will be coming out? Mechabreaker Prime 02:51, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
- Next time, read the profiles. /:) --69.47.96.126 03:13, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
Megatron also bit it in the Marvel continuity at the end of G1. It's just that there was the GI Joe crossover, and then he got built into an entirely different new body in time for G1. So that's the diverging point, what happened after the Ark got back to Earth.--RosicrucianTalk 04:46, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
I didn't know the profiles had thet information. :) Not being a real comic guy, Megs got the tank mode in the crossover, right? Did the crossover happen before the end of G1, or after? I don't really follow the whole "??? and Transformers" crossover thing at all. And if They can just be rebuilt like that at all times, then what's the point of the war? Oh well, I guess I'll have to dig out all my magazines and read the profiles. Mechabreaker Prime 15:25, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
