Thor (トール Tōru) was a captain of the Gourmet Police prior to his death at the hands of Starjun's GT Robo.

Appearance[]

He wears a large slouch hat, a trench coat and carries a large sword strapped to his back. He was seen with a cigar in his mouth prior to his murder.

Personality[]

He was a loyal and respected officer who fought for Justice and sometime in the past was once a famous pro Gourmet Hunter, showing that he was a fearless man of great skill and confidence. He was also shown to be a brave and proud warrior having no fear when he encountered the menacing GT Robo operated by Starjun.

Powers and Abilities[]

Not much is known about Thor's strength, but he was once a pro Gourmet Hunter of famed status and reputation and it came as a great shock when the IGO directors found out about his death. Because of this it can be said that he was quite powerful but his strength was no match for the monstrously strong Starjun and his (at the time) latest model GT Robo. Thor was also seen with a sword, implying that he was a swordsman although his full skill with it is unknown.

History[]

Past[]

He was a former Gourmet Hunter with a wealth of achievements and status, as a result, many found it hard to believe that someone of his caliber could be killed.

Puffer Whale Arc[]

He was first seen as a passenger on the train to Gourmet Fortune. Later on, he tries to arrest Starjun's GT Robo at the entrance of Labyrinthine Cave after he poached countless Puffer Whales and murdered many animals and gourmet hunters, but despite his famed reputation he ends up getting killed by Starjun fierce power. His death was soon reported to the IGO directors who found his death to be quite shocking.

Anime and Manga Differences[]

  • For reasons unknown, Thor and his scene were excluded from the anime and was instead replaced by Tina who would encounter Starjun's GT Robo but rather than it being a lethal encounter, all she lost was her camera and laptop. No mention of Thor is made, not even by the IGO's Board of Committee.
    • Thor not debuting in the anime might be because of the heavy censorship.

Trivia[]

  • He is named after "Thor" the Norse god of thunder.
