Platinattou (プラチ納豆) is a luminescent kind of nattou (fermented soybeans) that grows deep within underground lakes and sparkles like platinum. It grows in bunches around itself, forming the shape of speleothems (stalagmites and stalactites) and its brilliant glow gives it a stunning appearance and can light up a whole cave. It possesses a strong fragrance and excellent taste with superb stickiness.
