The Northern Wul Continent is the northern half of the Wul Continent and the Human World's third largest continent. It is located 20-30 degrees below the equator, allowing for various climates and environments, ranging from vast tropical forests to massive deserts. It is also located just southwest of the neighboring Wak Continent.
Geography[]
It is a massive landmass with a size of 120 million square meters (roughly twice the size of Eurasia). As mentioned before, much of the Northern Wul Continent's environments are warm climates and are all inhabited by wild beasts and no known human settlements are known or have been mentioned to exist within it. One of its most recognizable regions is the fierce Wul Jungle, filled with countless man-eating plants and other dangerous flora. Growing on the top of the Wul Jungle is the BB Corn, brought over from the Gourmet World and it is one of the few ingredients from there that can be bred within the Human World.
The Wul Continent also houses the Wul Volcano, which has a base of 1400 degrees, but has tall stacks of round rocks with high melting points, each one with a lower temperature than the next, with the coolest at 50 degrees.
Ash Cloud Environment[]
High above the Northern Wul Continent, exactly 20,000 meters in the sky and within the lower stratosphere, there are special types of semi-solid clouds created from the unique ashes of the volcanoes below which merged with the clouds and froze into cloud-like formations high above within the air. These frozen ash clouds contain minerals and special nutrients from the volcanoes below which allow them to support plant life, as such spores and seeds that the air currents bring in. Then they are able to root themselves to these ash clouds and form dense roots within the frozen ash, stabilizing the cloud's form into a more solid one where larger plants and organisms can freely grow and traverse over it (although the terrain still feels incredibly soft when stepped on). The location of these clouds within the more stable lower stratosphere ensures more stable air currents which allows for a more warmer environment for the plants, as well as ensuring that the air produced by the plants growing among the clouds through photosynthesis remains stable and breathable. This natural environment in the sky that is in the present filled with a vast forest of vegetables is known as Vegetable Sky. The only animals native to this cloudy valley in the sky are the Mineral Earthworms. Massive vines known as Sky Plants also grows from the clouds above and extends to the world below and are inhabited by several types of fauna.
