The Horsnapping Turtle (ホースッポン Hōsuppon) is a Gourmet World beast that lives near the Slow Rain Hills in Area 8.
Anatomy[]
Its body structure is that of a turtle with a shell on its back and a long neck, but its legs are elevated like a horse and it has three tails which are like that of a horse. It has sharp and pointed teeth along with two forked tongues. It has a single cycloptic eye and two horns on the top of its head.
Behavior[]
Not much of its behavior its known, but it is clearly a carnivorous species and it will not pass up the chance to eat an easy to catch prey.
Powers and Abilities[]
Having a capture level of 498, the Horsnapping Turtle is likely very strong. It is fast enough to catch the fast moving body of Shigematsu but is easily killed by the force of Toriko's Infinite Nail Punch, which was propelling Shigematsu. The fact that it is capable of living in Area 8 shows that it is able to survive the continent's harsh weather conditions.
History[]

After Shigematsu is defeated by Toriko's immensely powerful Infinite Nail Punch, his body is sent flying through the air. A Horsnapping Turtle spots him and tries to eat him, but the force of Toriko's attack causes Shigematsu to launch through the beast's head, killing it instantly.
