The Homecoming Arc is the second story arc of Shinyaku Toaru Majutsu no Index.
This arc occurs immediately after the Freshmen Arc, with Kamijou Touma, Accelerator and Hamazura Shiage all together for the first time. The three gather in Touma's room, where Leivinia Birdway gives them a series of lectures on the nature of magic, the truth behind World War III and a new enemy which has emerged. Meanwhile, Kanzaki Kaori and the Anglican Church are faced with the appearance of a mysterious floating fortress, Radiosonde Castle.[1]
