Ultimate Spider-Man (Infinite Comics) (2015) - Rival Schools (Part 5) is the twenty-fourth issue of the Ultimate Spider-Man Infinite Comics.
Synopsis[]
Spider-Man and the rest of the Midtown High Superheroes seem evenly matched with their Brighton clones. They'll need a plan to outmaneuver them, lest Musty never be rescued!
Plot[]
At Brighton Beach High School, the team are having trouble fighting their evil counterparts. They find that they have powers that are able to beat theirs and that they were designed to defeat them. Spider-Man gets an idea and orders the team to retreat to the gym. He reveals to them that they may have the powers to beat theirs but they don't have Nick Fury's stealth suits like them. The rest of the team get the idea and Spider-Man uses the Shield Image Inducer Watch to turn them into himself. The evil team become confused just as Spider-Man changes himself and the team from himself to Power Man, White Tiger, Iron Fist and Nova while they all point out to the evil team about what they and the Maggia missed out about them and S.H.I.E.L.D.. The team then take Musty the Mustang and escape. Principle Staine whose real name is Giacomo Fortunato scolds the evil team about their actions. Later, at Midtown High School, Mary Jane Watson and Liz Allan find that Peter Parker, Ava Ayala, Danny Rand, Luke Cage and Sam Alexander are not at the game. Meanwhile on the S.H.I.E.L.D. Tricarrier, Giacomo Fortunato and the evil team are arrested and Fortunato swears to Phil Coulson that he will give the evil team a excessive punishment but Agent Coulson reveals that he will be in custody with his students. Meanwhile, Director Fury berates the team for their actions and gives them suspension for the rest of the month. At Midtown High, Stan along with the announcers reveal and announce Musty the Mustang's return and with Flash Thompson and everyone celebrating and Mary Jane sends a message to Peter (Spider-Man) wishing he were here.
