Overview |
Shin Seonil (신선일, Sinseon-il) is Jihan's childhood friend and a member of Year 3 Class 8. He is also the heir of one of the ruling martial arts guild of the Abyss in Seoul region called Cheon Bu Guild and is the Heavenly Sword called the Sword of Dan. He is the deuteragonist of the series.
Appearance[]
He is a young man in his late teens with an above-average lean build, green-colored spiky hair and is often seen with closed eyes and a smile. However, when his eyes are open, they are an amber color. His usual attire consists of his school uniform: black pants, blue shirt, and red tie.
Personality[]
He is initially shown to be happy-go-lucky, as well as having a close friendship with Jihan, the latter thought that he was just normal until realizing his abilities. Though he is shown to never let anything get under his skin, SuniI has shown to become serious when something occurs with his friends or family, as proven when he had choked Jihan letting out serious killing intent who he thought was an imposter yet let him go after realizing he was the real deal.
He is very overprotective of Jihan, especially after he continued to go deeper and deeper into the Abyss, as well as did reckless things to get stronger. This has caused his cousin to state that he has feelings for him, which he refutes several times.
History[]
When they were younger, Jihan usually went over to his house and played video games with him. Jihan taught him how to use a computer.
Plot[]
Shin Seonil was good at controlling energy since he was little but he had to train really hard to become powerful. He trained in the Cheon Bu Guild from the moment that he was able to walk. Aside from his skill in his clan's martial art, he is also an expert in other Korean Martial Art such as well as a Taekwondo gold medalist. Since Han Jihan started getting more and more involved with the Abyss and getting himself in dangerous situations, Seonil started to train even harder than before, and later, reaching Level 135. After being taught Yeonhon Taiji Master of Two Wills and having it merged with Cheonbu Spirit Mastery via the power of The Gamer, his body suffered ki distortion which would have killed him if not for the Sword of Dan. By merging Cheonbu Taiji Yeonhon Paradox Mastery of Spirits together, however, he was able to transcend the limits of his body and his mind and body was able to sync in perfect harmony. Although he had reached the rank of Demigod since a while ago, he hadn't fully adapted to it.
