Lesser daemons ｢下位悪魔, ressā dēmon｣ are at the lowest level of the daemon race. They spontaneously come into existence within the Daemon Realm where they slowly accumulate experience from fighting and being summoned before eventually evolving into greater daemons.
Appearance[]
Lesser daemons typically have a vaguely humanoid appearance with a goat-like head and lower half. They're of an inhuman stature standing over four meters tall with long muscular arms. They possess a long and thin tail as well as the characteristic claws, horns, and wings typical of a daemon.
Background[]
Newborn lesser daemons are colorless and lack a firm ego despite possessing knowledge. They are called employment-types ｢使役型, shieki-gata｣ and are the daemons that most humans summon. When they develop their ego, they become independent-types ｢自立型, jiritsu-gata｣.
Higher daemon evolutions, aside from primordials, will be reincarnated as lesser daemons with color after being killed. Their social class will become that of the "late modern" or "chevalier" species again.
Abilities[]
Like all daemons, lesser daemons possess an intrinsic knowledge of Aspectual magic that allows them to cast a variety of spells as well as a rather high resistance to magic. While a lesser daemon has very little fighting experience, the power of their "Fireball" shouldn't be underestimated.
