Rushing Uppercut is a move used by the Jack series of androids, Prototype Jack, Kuma I from Tekken 2 onwards, as well as Kuma II and Panda from Tekken 3 onwards. There are left- and right-handed variants plus three alternate finishers.
The move is essentially a left or right uppercut followed by a Triple Uppercut combo, however the left-handed version can only perform the middle variation.
Rushing Uppercut Left starts with a left uppercut with the last three hits of the right-handed Triple Uppercut. On a counter hit, it is a guaranteed combo and launches the opponent on the last hit. The Jack series and Prototype Jack lost this in Tekken 6 and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 respectively due to the introduction of Overdrive.
Rushing Uppercut Right is the right-handed version of the move, with the main difference being the first uppercut launches the opponent with the remaining uppercuts. Like the left-handed Triple Uppercut, it can end with a high, middle or low finisher, however the last hit usually whiffs in a juggle. Kuma II and Panda lost the ability to use this since Tekken 6 due to the introduction of Kuma Musou. The Jack series lost the ability to use this in Tekken 8 due to the introduction of Cosmic Sweeper
Starting with Tekken 5, Kuma's animation was updated to differentiate the move from Jack's. In Tekken 7, the last hit of Rushing Uppercut High will trigger a Screw.
