Run Up to Drop is a throw used by Marshall Law since the original Tekken and Forest Law in Tekken 3 and Tekken Tag Tournament. Forest's was replaced by Dragon Vault in Tekken Tag Tournament 2.
In the arcade version of Tekken, Lee Chaolan also has this move, but it was replaced by the Forearm Drop in the PlayStation release and subsequent games.
In Tekken 8, this move's name is change to Run Up > Drop in the move list.
Description[]
Law runs at the opponent's chest, using his momentum to jump up and connect with a body press when falling back down, causing them to land on the ground.
This throw uses a special grab animation where the user will flick their left leg forward instead of extending either arm. In Tekken and Tekken 2, the low hitbox of the throw could be used to convert some attacks, such as Dragon's Tail, into a launcher.
In Tekken 8, when doing the move, Law will say, "I'm a dragon!" before landing on his opponent.
