Elbow Drop, called Elbow Sting (エルボースティング Erubō Sutingu?) in Japan, is an attack used by King I in Tekken 2 and King II in Tekken 3 and Tekken Tag Tournament. It is a standing variation of the High Elbow Drop, which was simply called Elbow Drop in the first game but renamed in subsequent games. It also acted as the last hit of two of King's 10 Hit Combos.

Its main use is to attack downed opponents, however its low speed makes it inferior to faster attacks such as a Stagger Kick. The move ends with the user in the Play Dead position. If an Elbow Drop hits a standing opponent, they will recover crouching but not stagger, leaving the user open to ground attacks.

From Tekken 4 onwards, King lost the ability to perform this move, instead using the Corporate Elbow, although the 10 Hit Combo version of the move remained until Tekken Tag Tournament 2 before being removed entirely in Tekken 7.
