Paisley was a town in Scotland. It was situated approximately 600 miles from Mons in Belgium. The families of both Jamie Colquhoun and of Harry were from Paisley. While the men were on the frontlines, landlords tried to profiteer off rent, causing rent strikes that Jeanie Colquhoun and her mother actively participated in.
