A Dalek was part of the Dalek invasion of Earth in an alternate 1903.

With its self-destruct mechanism damaged, it was captured while the rest of the invasion force was destroyed, and imprisoned in the Tower of London from 1903 to 2003. The Dalek prisoner was tortured by commander Farrow in an attempt to get it to speak, but it remained silent for years, since its human captives always asked the same questions. It only began speaking again when the Sixth Doctor arrived. The Dalek had compassion and respect for Evelyn Smythe, regarding her as a fellow 'soldier'. Similarly, it related with Lamb, who preferred to simply follow orders like the Dalek did.

Farrow gave back the Dalek's gun, planning to use it in a plan to overthrow President Nigel Rochester. However, when Farrow proved to be weak willed, the Dalek ordered Lamb to kill him, which he gladly did. The Dalek viewed itself as a traitor or the one with the knowledge of the invasion's defeat. After realising the Doctor was right about how empires spawn people who turn against each other, it killed the Dalek Supreme, connected itself to the Dalek command net and ordered all Daleks to self-destruct, which they did. The Dalek was killed by Evelyn on its request, negating the alternate timeline. (AUDIO: Jubilee)

Behind the scenes[]

Metaltron was this Dalek's counterpart in the television adaptation of Jubilee, Dalek.
