The Valiance was a Venator-class star destroyer that served as the flagship for the 56th Battalion during the Clone Wars. Early in the war it saw combat above Balmorra.[1]

The Valiance acted as the flagship for the 56th Battalion early in the Clone Wars, under the command of Jedi General Viera Cacete.
Battle for Balmorra[]
The Valiance first saw combat above the world Balmorra, when the 56th Battalion was sent to regain its allegiance. Upon the arrival of several Separatist frigates, the 56th's infantry units deployed to the surface under the protection of Crow Squadron while the Valiance did combat with the Separatist starships. Eventually, Crow Squadron was forced to withdraw to the Valiance, which in turn had to retreat to Coruscant to gain reinforcements before they were overrun, leaving the infantry units under the command of General Cacete and Commander Dodge with no way to escape.[1]
