Jessika Pava was a Human female pilot who served in the Resistance.
Biography[]
Born on Dandoran, Jessika Pava was only a child when she and her parents were captured by pirates and sold into slavery. They were eventually liberated by Jedi Master Luke Skywalker, whom Pava came to idolize. As soon as she was of age, she enlisted in the New Republic Starfighter Corps and came to fly for Blue Squadron, flying under the call sign Blue Three during the Glorian War.
When Leia Organa formed the Resistance to counter the Sith Insurgency, Pava left the New Republic to join Black Squadron under Poe Dameron.
In 42 ABY, Pava and Dameron accompanied Jedi Master Toah Jarsan and his apprentice Rey on a mission to investigate the Malvis Cabal's activities on Corellia. After meeting up with the Renegades, the team infiltrated the First Light only to be captured by Queen Kestora and the Veiled Sorority. They were eventually able to escape on Ord Mantell and dealt with Mal Banvor and his army of droid bodies.[1]
Pava later accompanied Dameron, Snap Wexley, and the Jedi on a mission to find the map to the first Jedi Temple. Their journey took them from Jakku to Lothal, before joining in the battle at Mon Cala.[2] After the battle, Pava was reassigned to Rogue Squadron after it had joined the Resistance, flying under the call sign Rogue Five.[3]
