The 326th Task Force or Havoc Squad was an elite special forces unit within the Grand Army of the Republic and commanded by Jack Tresherslider during the Clone Wars.

Origin and overview[]
The 326th Task Force was named after the original Havoc Squad, an Ă©lite special forces squad that was active during the Old Republic era. The unit was formed in the aftermath of the Mission to Naboo, as part of Chancellor Palpatine's effort to create a special task force under the Special Operations Brigade. The troops in the squad each processed an attribute which made them unique to the team.[1]

Clone Captain CT-1899 "Jack Tresherslider" was a Force-sensitive clone trooper created from the DNA of Jacen Tresherslider, he served the group's leader. Clone Lieutenant CT-9078 "Maxson" had specialized medical training, because of this he served as the team's medic. Clone Corporal CT-3521 "Ross" previously worked as a flight crewmen. However, he was a well known slicer and programmer. ARC-4768 "Wolfhound" was a specialized marksmen and demolitions expert.[1] The Wookiee Sergeant Arriurra joined the team directly following the Second Battle of Hypori. Because of the characteristic of brute strength that his species processed, he acted as the team's muscle.[2]

Crisis on Naboo[]
Though unofficial, the squad's first mission came after the Battle of Teth. When the Queen of Naboo, Ashari Founiter became the target of assassination attempts made by the Doshian Empire. The Supreme Chancellor personally assigned the future team to protect her and prevent more attacks. However, just as the team was about to depart from their staging area aboard a Defender-class light corvette known as Barsen'thor, the Republic fleet was ambushed. Havoc participated in the battle for a short time. But they were forced to abandon their allies, in order to get to Naboo.[1]
The first attack came a day after the team's arrival. When the queen was visiting the Parnelli Museum of Art with Captain Tresherslider, she was ambushed by Dreks and his men. Tresherslider fought off the attackers with a pair of DC-17 blaster pistols. However, they were destroyed. Dreks successfully grabbed the queen and escaped through a window. Tresherslider cased after them. With no weapons, Tresherslider had to rely on his Force and hand-to-hand combat abilities. In doing so however, it was revealed that he was a Jedi. In the chaos, Dreks escaped and his men were killed.[1]
Second Battle of Hypori[]
When Sergeant Arriurra and his team were captured during a supply mission to Hypori. Captain Tresherslider along with B1U3 and group of reprogrammed battle droids were sent in as an undercover prison transfer. He came face to face with the prison warden. He was able to recognize the captain and told him the prison's true purpose before the warden sent the captain away. After his confrontation with the warden, Captain Tresherslider successful liberated the sergeant and his men. Afterwards, the pair released the other prisoners. Captain Tresherslider then led the group to the landing pads. It was there that they were confronted by the warden, who blew up their ship and sent out an army of battle droids. Meanwhile, the Republic fleet arrived and was attempting to break the enemy's blockade.[2]
On the ground, the captain led Republic forces against the battle droids. During the battle, he revealed himself to Jedi and used his abilities to destroy the anti-ship turrets. Afterwards he spotted an unknown ship in the distance. In response to Jedi threat, the warden sent out his agent. Tresherslider then dueled the agent in lightsaber combat while everyone commandeered the vessel. After retrieving Jack, He piloted the ship through the blockade. As a result, Captain Serros ordered every fighter to protect the ship. Meanwhile, Arriurra was the ship's turret defending against enemy starfighters. However, the group was once again pursued by Angar. Until Maxson, who was flying in the Barsen'thor successfully shot and damaged Angar's ship. It caused the agent to break off his attack, which allowed the gauntlet fighter to dock on the Comet. When all forces arrived back at the base, the sergeant received reassignment orders to join Havoc Squad.[2]
