Shay Lajoie

Shay's mental fortitude showed in her physical game and in her struggle to survive despite often having to play from the bottom. Her endurance and challenge prowess allowed her to win four individual Immunity Challenges and return from Purgatory, constantly defying the majority alliance's plans to eliminate her to make it to the series' first Final Three. However, her lack of initiative and failure to capitalize on numerous strategic opportunities caused her to miss out on every jury vote.

Partners Ben and Shayelle realise the value of having each other on their Survivor journeys, especially when the going gets tough.
Shay says: "Having him there will be priceless in terms of support. I struggle to not get caught up in my emotions sometimes, so I have to force myself to think my way out it."
Why do you think you were chosen to be on Survivor?
Because I am physically strong, socially adaptable and certainly not one to back away from a challenge.
What are you most looking forward to?
The challenges, they vary so much over the seasons, so I have no idea what surprises JLP is about to serve up!^[2]
