The Silent Treatment is the 1st episode of the third season of The Suite Life on Deck.
Story[]
Set one day after the events of Paris, Cody and Bailey are upset about their breakup. Woody and Zack find out that Cody left the ship to go to a secret lodge called the Brotherhood of the Hooded Brothers, lead by a man named Brother Theodore. London decides to help Bailey by asking Miss Tutweiller how to deal with break ups. Zack and Woody decide to go to The Brotherhood to get Cody, but it ends up that they have to join to come in, and they get stuck in because of high tide. Zack convinces Cody to leave telling him about the life he could have out of that place. He agrees to do so, and reveals that he used a bald cap to disguise his head, as did Zack. However, it is then revealed that Woody did shave his head. On the other side, Bailey and London go to Miss. Tutweiller's suite and it is full of cats. They cut out pictures of their boyfriends from scrapbooks, eat ice cream and play with cats and London, being fed up of all of this, offers to buy clothes for Bailey which she accepts.
Quotes[]
- Brother Theodore: Brothers, let us induct the newest member of our circle. Welcome, Brother Cody. And… (He and the other brothers slap their foreheads and chins then cross their arms)
- London: (she hears Bailey wailing thinking it was a donkey call) What is that, some kind of donkey call? Just because you have donkey teeth doesn’t mean you have to sound like one.
- Bailey: It’s not a donkey call. It’s me being sad.
- London: Ugh. Don’t tell me you’re not over Cody yet.
- Bailey: We only broke up 10 hours ago.
- London: Exactly. Move on, sister.
- Bailey: But how? What do you do to get over a guy who broke your heart?
- London: Oh, simple, I have daddy‘s private army storm into a guys house and rip out his… I mean, go shopping. (laughs)
- Bailey: I can’t afford to go shopping.
- London: Wow, that makes me wanna cry. Well, if we’re gonna help you through this, we need to talk to an expert on failed relationships.
- Miss. Tutweiller: OK, so much for that. How can I help you?
- Bailey: (voice breaking; crying) Cody and I broke up last night.
- Miss. Tutweiller: Oh, Bailey, I’m so sorry. You and Cody were perfect for each other.
- Bailey: I know, right?
- Miss. Tutweiller: oh, break ups are so sad!
- Bailey: I know! (She turns to London who is also crying) London, why are you crying?
- London: Because I’m stuck on a boat with you people!
- Brother Theodore: Ah, Brother Cody. I see that you were moved by the story of our founder brother Cornelius and his legendary battle with the phone company.
- Cody: (crying) No. This book is bound with leather, which comes from cows, which live on farms, which of course reminds me of… Wheat, which makes bread, which is used in sandwiches, which sometimes Bailey eats for lunch if she doesn’t have a soup or a salad. I miss her so much!
- Brother Theodore: And let me guess, the paper reminds you of trees, which have bark, and Bailey loved puppies.
- Cody: She was so special. I’ll never find another girl who loves puppies.
- Brother Theodore: Brother Cody, you came here to forget that even woman. Let your mind be cleared of her through hard work. Let the water you mop away represent the tears of your sadness.
- Cody: OK, I’ll give it a try. (wailing)
- Brother Theodore: Brother Cody, ha-ha, Get your wails out now, because when the bell rings, everyone enters a period of complete and utter silence.
- Cody: (tearfully) OK, I understand.
- Brother Theodore: Okay.
- Cody: (wailing resumes)
- Brother Theodore: Right about now would be a good time for that bell to ring. (bell rings then Cody stops crying) (inaudible dialogue)
- Zack: (bell rings) Oh, is that the dinner bell? I hope we're having sloppy joes. I love me some sloppy joes.
- Woody: (Cody shakes his head and puts a finger to his lips) No, not sloppy joes. Okay, a straw, a straw.
- Zack: Milkshakes.
- Woody: (Cody mimes zipping his mouth shut) Oh, a key.
- Zack: Key lime pie.
- Woody: I love key lime pie.
- Zack: Uh, rub eye— Dry-rubbed Cajun-style rib eye.
- Woody: Yes! Steak!
- Zack: A good steak!
- Cody: (yells) YOU IDIOTS!!! I'M TRYING TO TELL YOU WE'RE SUPPOSED TO BE SILENT!!!
- Brother Theodore: Oh, here you are. You're on the kiln list.
- Woody: (drops to the ground and hold onto Brother Theodore) The kill list? Please, I'm not ready to die. I promise I won't laugh at your dingy again.
- Brother Theodore: The kiln list, not the kill list. Though you're about to get on that one too.
- Bailey: Deny it Cody.
- Zack: She thinks I'm Cody.
- Woody: Gimme that. Hello Bailey it's Cody.
- Bailey: Hi Woody.
