Description[]
- "A more powerful Mexican Typhoon in which you smash your opponent into the ground twice. Can be used to slip through an opponent's guard at close range and deal tons of damage all at once."
- —Street Fighter 6
In Street Fighter Alpha 3, T. Hawk performs two or three (depending on the level) back-to-back Mexican Typhoons, each jump spinning the opponent in air one time more than the previous jump.
In Super Street Fighter IV, T. Hawk executes one Mexican Typhoon, throws the opponent to the ground at the move's peak while calling the Ultra Combo's name, and ends the move by landing on the opponent's back in a sitting position, performing the signature one-handed Wyandot "How!" salute.
In Street Fighter 6, Lily jumps onto her opponent and latches her pogamoggans around their head, swinging around them before slamming them on their stomach. The move continues as Lily kicks up off the ground and into the air; spinning her opponent a couple more times in midflight before slamming them on the back of their neck. The Critical Art has Lily spinning her opponent a total of five times after the initial slam. However, upon performing another rotation, Lily inadvertently releases her opponent's head in midair. This not only causes the opponent to descend early, but also has Lily tumbling helplessly toward the ground. As her opponent crashes on their stomach, Lily lands on top of them clumsily, climbing off them afterwards.
Tactics[]
Street Fighter 6[]
While this move cannot be used during juggle combos, it still can be cancelled from most of Lily's normals, unique attacks, or special moves such as Medium Condor Wind. Its 7-frame startup allows Lily to whiff punish her opponent's moves or score a Punish Counter on their Drive Parry to nearly wipe out almost half of their health. When Lily is down to 25% or less of her health, this move gain an additional boost of damage. She is fully invincible during the startup frames of this move. It also has a lengthy cinematic. This allows Lily to recover Drive Gauge while simultaneously draining the opponent's meter.
