- "A move performed from Arabian Cyclone that sends you rolling forward. A great technique for closing the distance from far or keeping the pressure on when you're up close."
- —Street Fighter 6
The Rolling Assault (アサルト・ロール Asaruto Rōru?, Assault Roll) is Rashid's first V-Skill in Street Fighter V.[1] It returns in Street Fighter 6 as a special attack.

Description[]
- "A rolling kick delivered out of Rolling Assault. Very effective as a follow up attack on opponents launched by Arabian Cyclone."
- —Street Fighter 6
Executed by pressing down, plus Medium Punch and Medium Kick simultaneously, Rashid performs a quick, front roll to close the gap between himself and the opponent. This can be followed up with Nail Assault (アサルト・ネイル Asaruto Neiru?, Assault Nail). By pressing kick during Rolling Assault, Rashid extends his leg out and kicks his opponent, launching them in the air.
In Street Fighter 6, this move can be performed as one of the follow-ups to Arabian Cyclone. Executed by performing a quarter circle back motion and pressing punch (or pressing down and Special Attack for Modern Control), followed by by pressing forward and any kick button (or pressing forward and any attack button for Modern Control), Rashid does an overhead kick, creating a temporary cyclone at his feet, then rolls forward on the ground, avoiding most mid-level attacks or projectiles. This can be further followed up into Nail Assault by pressing any kick (Classic) or any attack button (Modern) during Rolling Assault, where Rashid sweep-kicks his opponent, launching them high.
Tactics[]
Rashid's V-Skill is very versatile and has a lot of potential for controlling space and dishing out damage. Rolling Assault can be used to slide under projectiles and punish his opponent at the same time.
Additionally, the Rolling Assault has a lot more potential for mobility, mix-ups, and resets. For starters, the roll works as a great tool for Rashid to push his opponent when he increases the move's range. This can be done through the usage of V-Trigger. Rashid can also use his Heavy or EX Whirlwind Shot, yielding close to a quarter of the stage. If the opponent blocks the Whirlwind Shot, Rashid can use the Rolling Assault to continue offensive pressure by mixing up frame trap combos and throws.
The most efficient way to inflict damage with this move is to use it when the opponent is in the corner. For example, after cancelling the Heavy Whirlwind Shot into the Nail Assault, Rashid can use his Medium or EX Spinning Mixer to get maximum corner carry. He can also use Heavy Spinning Mixer in the corner for maximum damage.
In Street Fighter 6, Rolling Assault is an essential anti-projectile tool. It not only enhances Rashid's mobility, but it gives him a variety of ways to approach and attack the opponent, thus amplifying his pressure game.
