Publishers were members of staff that were responsible for releasing Sonic the Comic. Only Chris Power and Rob McMenemy were known publishers before the position was removed from the credits in Issue 70. It returned in Issue 139 with McMenemy still in the position, suggesting he had held it during the unknown period. When McMenemy moved to Marketing Director in Issue 152, the role of publisher was lost again.
