Strips[]

Sonic the Hedgehog[]

The Evil Empire is a 4-part story by Nigel Kitching, Richard Elson and Tom Frame. In the Emerald Hill Zone, the Freedom Fighters have finally established their new base as the Control Centre but it is immediately invaded by Doctor Robotnik and two new Badniks. Sonic loses out in a fight with the new Metallix Mark 3 and is taken to another dimension through a Mobius Ring - closely followed by Tails.

Captain Plunder[]

Captain Plunder and the Spice Maidens is a 6-part story, the final one in the Plunder series. Written by Kitching, drawn by Nigel Dobbyn and lettered by Elitta Fell, the story sees a frustrated Captain Tiberius tail Plunder, hoping his good luck soon fails. However, a ploy by Zorabel to take all the treasure from Plunder fails, leaving Plunder with it all. With The Curse of Akotek still in effect, the gold falls off the ship, causing the shields to fail - allowing Tiberius to blast the Sky Pirates' ship out of the sky.

Decap Attack[]

Caught by the Prefects is a 2-part story by Kitching, Richard Rayner and Ellie de Ville. After an accident in a storm, Professor Frank N. Stein has regressed to his childhood and believes the inhabitants of Castle Frank N. Stein to be his bullies from school. Prof first attacks Stinky Bates and Pongo (actually Chuck D. Head) before exacting his revenge on Basher (Igor). However, another strike of lightning brings Stein back to his senses... but it's too late to stop Chuck and Igor getting their revenge!

Amy[]

Spot of Bother is a complete story that fully introduces the character of Norris Wimple. Written by Lew Stringer, drawn by Roberto Corona, coloured by John M Burns and lettered by Frame, the story sees a town under attack by Badniks until they are saved by Amy and Tekno the Canary. Badnik spotter Wimple isn't so happy with the wreckage of prime engineering, so comes up with a plan to lure them in again. The "Sonic" imposter is again rescued by the heroes, so Wimple turns his attentions to measuring footballers' footprints.
