- "Unable to authenticate the author, and therefore the accuracy of the stories within the journal, we have paired some of the content that has not been destroyed by age with data entries from our scientific records. With details of over 200 aliens from across galactic history, we are happy to restore this enigmatic journal for public viewing."
- ―Xoddam Lothipp, in the introduction to the restored edition of an unidentified artist's journal
Xoddam Lothipp was an individual who served as the Deputy Director of the Graf Archive during its restoration effort. When a task force led by the archive droid TR-33NA, discovered a journal written by an unidentified artist, some of its contents were paired with data entries from the archive's scientific records. The restored journal was then released to the public with an introductory word from Lothipp.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Xoddam Lothipp was first mentioned in the canon reference book Star Wars: Alien Archive published in 2018, which was written by Natalie Clubb and Katrina Pallant. The book's in-universe introduction is attributed to Lothipp. The name Xoddam Lothipp is an anagram for Maddox Philpot, the designer of the book.[1]
