Tarnono[2] was a male bodyguard who worked for the gangster Wonn Ionstrike in Cloud City on the planet Bespin. Tarnono wore a red uniform with a gator to cover his mouth. He armed himself with a blaster. The bodyguard was blind in his right eye with scars over the eye.[1]
Between 0 ABY and 3 ABY,[3] Tarnono was employed by Ionstrike when he Moxxin, Traff, and Vanraya, ordering the kids to state their business. Vanraya stated that they had something Ionstrike would take interest in. Tranono's fellow Gran bodyguard examined the item which was the Cantonarive crown coin and concluded that their boss would like to see.[1]
Tranono followed the kids out to his boss and announced to Ionstrike the he would want to see what the kids brought. Ionstrike wanted to examine the coin but Vanraya had a change of heart and refused to. Instead she and the other kids escaped to return the coin to the Baron Administrator Landonis Balthazar Calrissian. Tarnono and the Gran opened fire on the kids but the kids dodged the fire and escaped the gangster and his bodyguards.[1]

Tarnono appeared in "The Coin," a backup story in the 2021 edition of Star Wars Adventures Annual. The comic was written by Jason Loo and Chip Zdarsky with Loo also serving as illustrator. IDW Publishing published the comic on November 24, 2021[4] Tarnono was later identified in concept art revealed by Loo in a Twitter post.[2]
