Surprise Squadron was a New Republic starfighter squadron composed of RZ-1 A-wing interceptors.[1] In 8.5 ABY,[2] it participated in the Taking of Kuat by using ion torpedoes to disable four enemy starships in helping to capture Kuat Drive Yards.[1]
