Palek[2] was an astronomical object inhabited by the Palekians and known for its hyperstorms.[1] In 85 BBY,[3] the Jedi Padawan Sifo-Dyas visited Palek with his Master Lene Kostana, witnessing a hyperstorm and acquiring a crystal that appeared similar to kyber, which he gave to his friend Dooku upon returning to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant.[1]
