- "Come on, Tep Tep, wake up so we can go see what Chef Norgon cooked up today. You too, Jamil."
"Chef Norgon is the bestest." - ―Kildo and Tep Tep
Norgon was a individual who worked as a chef in the Temple kitchens of the Jedi Order's Jedi Temple on[1] the Core Worlds planet[2] Coruscant during the High Republic Era. The Jedi youngling Tep Tep considered them to be the "bestest."[1]
In 228 BBY,[3] while in the cargo hold of the research vessel Innovator, Jedi youngling Kildo instructed Tep Tep to wake up so the two and fellow youngling Jamil Sollis could visit the kitchens to see what Norgon had cooked for that particular day. Before they could leave for the kitchen, however, the Innovator suddenly took off and departed Coruscant on a mission.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Norgon was mentioned in the 2024 junior novel The High Republic: Beware the Nameless, written by Zoraida Córdova and published as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase III.[4]

As The High Republic: Beware the Nameless takes place one and a half years after the destruction of Starlight Beacon, it must be set in 228 BBY.
