The MPO-1400 Purgill-class star cruiser,[1] also known as the MPO-1400 Star Cruiser[6] the Chandrilan Class I starship,[7] or simply an MPO cruiser[1] was a class of Star Cruiser in service from the High Republic Era to the New Republic Era, manufactured by the Corellian Engineering Corporation.[2] One Star Cruiser was the Halcyon, which was operated by Chandrila Star Line. It was roughly twice as large as a CR90 corvette,[3] and it had thirteen engines that were arranged in the unique Drabor Configuration.[4]
Behind the scenes[]
The MPO-1400 Purrgil-class star cruiser Halcyon was the setting for Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser, a luxury roleplaying experience formerly located in Florida.[3] Although the ship is named after the purrgil, a species of spacefaring creatures,[8] the name was misspelled in the novel The High Republic: Midnight Horizon.[1]

- ↑ Halcyon Legacy 1 establishes that the Halcyon was built 275 years before the First Order-Resistance War, which was instigated due to the Hosnian Cataclysm. According to Star Wars: Galactic Atlas, the Starkiller Incident is dated to 34 ABY. Thus, simple arithmetic shows that the Halcyon was built approximately in 241 BBY.
