Kenari Village^[2] was a village located on the planet Kenari. The village consisted of several homes that were made of wood and scrap materials. The settlement was inhabited^[1] by a tribe consisting of child orphans, the only survivors from the planet being poisoned by mining operations,^[3] which included Kassa and his little sister Kerri.^[1] When a Galactic Republic transport crashed on Kenari, an expedition making up most of the tribe left the settlement to inspect the crash site.^[4]
