Kaleesh warriors were fierce and proud Kaleesh soldiers from the Wild Space planet Kalee.

Description[]

Kaleesh warriors^[3] were ferocious^[4] and proud^[5] warriors^[4] who donned attire that included a fearsome mask,^[2] cloak, and half-hoods,^[6] as was customary on their homeworld.^[7]

History[]

During the full-scale,^[8] brutal conflict^[9] against the Yam'rii, an insectoid species from the planet Huk in the same system,^[2] on their homeworld of Kalee,^[9] Kaleesh warlord^[2] Qymaen jai Sheelal,^[10] later known as "Grievous,"^[11] led his people.^[2] He traveled^[12] and battled alongside Kalee's best warriors,^[1] the Izvoshra,^[11] whom he assembled into^[8] his elite^[13] bodyguard. Each of the Izvoshra was a khan in command of troops of their own.^[8] The Kaleesh forces, headed by Grievous with his increased vigor and determination while on the offensive, eventually drove the Yam'rii off of their world,^[1] and onto Huk itself. A series of devastating campaigns were launched,^[13] sweeping across the barren Huk worlds.^[14]
