Kabak was a male cadet in Lothal's Academy for Young Imperials. He was assigned to squad LRC077, and was a member of Unit Aurek. He was a replacement for "Dev Morgan," a rebellious cadet who was secretly the undercover rebel Ezra Bridger. Kabak tended to be somewhat less calm than Rykoff, another cadet who joined the Imperial Academy around the same time.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
Author Jason Fry named this character, along with Rykoff, after a baseball writer of his acquaintance. As both of the writers in question are Yankee fans, he made their characters "bad guys".[3]
Appearances[]
- Servants of the Empire: Imperial Justice (First appearance)
Notes and references[]
- ↑ Kabak was a student at the one year Academy for Young Imperials at the same time as Zare Leonis. Star Wars: Galactic Atlas establishes that Leonis was a cadet in 5 BBY. Star Wars: Rogue One: The Ultimate Visual Guide states that the youngest Imperial Academies begin training Cadets is "13 standard years of age." This means Kabak must have been born at least thirteen years before, by 18 BBY.
