The Imperial Armor Corps was a corps of the Galactic Empire's ground forces that contained highly trained and professional personnel, and were tasked with operating and maintaining the Empire's fleet of ground vehicles. They were used to support infantry operations and destroying enemy armored units. The Imperial Artillery Corps was a sub-unit of the Armor Corps.[1]
The Imperial Armor Corps was reported to be one of the most feared military force in the galaxy, and were notable for their use of walkers such as the AT-ATs, AT-STs, and other armored vehicles such as combat speeders, tanks, and infantry fighting vehicles.[1]
