Two individuals lived during the High Republic Era.[1] Around 412 BBY,[2] they became the parents of a Force-sensitive human girl named Gella Nattai. When their daughter was too young to remember, the individuals took Nattai to the Jedi temple on[1] the Colonies planet[3] Devaron where they left her because of her Force-sensitivity.[1] By 382 BBY,[2] Nattai had trained to become a Jedi Knight.[1]
That year,[2] Nattai was asked by Axel Greylark—the son of Galactic Republic Supreme Chancellor Kyong Greylark—about where she had come from. In response, she informed him that she did not know, and that she also did not know her parents, though they had known enough about Force-users to know where to take her. Afterward, Greylark felt sad for Nattai and mentally wondered if she would ever want to know where she came from, before the Jedi Knight stated that she could not miss something that had not been meant for her.[1]
