Ferdan was a town located on the Outer Rim planet of Dalna during the High Republic Era. It had a single small spaceport, with only a droid managing the docking beacon. The town also had only two facilities with rooms to let. Ferdan had a central marketplace, as well as a day of rest that its inhabitants observed. The commune of the Path of the Open Hand cult was situated a short distance outside of town. Children of the Path, who were found to be Force-sensitive, were sent there rather than being raised within the commune.^[1]
