At the conclusion of a catastrophic war, a treaty was agreed upon by the Aleena and Kindalo species of Aleena. The treaty was made to prevent the destruction of all sentient life on the planet. It described that the Great Seal be created to separate the Aleena on the surface, and the Kindalo in the underworld. As a result of the war, the Aleena entered an era of seclusion without any technological advances.[1]
