Nibbly (also known as Nibblenephim[1] and The One Who Feasts in the Dark) is a character in the Hatchetfield Universe. He features in The Witch in the Web and Honey Queen as well as being mentioned in Jane's A Car and Daddy. Nibbly is played by Nick Lang and Kim Whalen

Nibbly is mentioned by the Tape Voice in his reading of The Black Book. He is referenced in the ritual of soul transference.
The Witch in the Web[]
Nibbly appears in doll form in The Witch in the Web as one of the dolls Willabella Muckwab, posing as Lex Foster, pulls out of her bag and begins worshiping.
Honey Queen[]
After winning the Honey Queen Pageant, Linda Monroe is brought to Witchwood Forest where she is offered as a sacrifice to Nibbly in a ritual done by the Church of the Starry Children. The churches ritual offers Nibbly a body of pig flesh for him to inhabit on the eve of the Hatchetfield Honey Festival. Nibbly melts the flesh of the pigs, they melt together to create his body, and then Nibbly eats Linda.
Daddy[]
Nibbly appears in doll form at the end of the song Young At Heart. He is also referenced in the spell from The Black Book Sheila intends to use to keep her young.
Nerdy Prudes Must Die[]
Nibbly and the other Lords in Black appear after being summoned by Steph Lauter, Pete Spankoffski and Grace Chasity via the ritual Holding Court with the Void. He directly taunts Steph before joining his brothers in offering them an ultimatum: sacrifice the thing they cherish most, or die at the hands of Max Jägerman. After Grace sacrifices her chastity, the Lords in Black pull Max's soul into the Black and White.
Description[]
On the one night a year Nibbly is able to walk the Earth, Nibbly's body is made of a mound of melted pig flesh. Described as a furry pink nightmare, Nibbly's physical form with a long wormlike neck with a grotesque smile made up of hundreds of pig teeth at the end of it. Heat makes the pigs’ eyes burst in their sockets and their skin bubbles. Nibbly's doll form is a pink doll with a mouth for a face.
When he is summoned by Steph, Pete, and Grace, he appears in a human-like form, portrayed by Kim Whalen, that is easier for the human mind to comprehend. He has pink hair tied in pigtails. He wears a thick, fluffy white shirt, a pink skirt, a white visor, pink knee-high socks, and white shoes. He carries a large pink lollipop that he can be seen licking. Of all of the human forms of the Lords in Black featured in Nerdy Prudes Must Die, Nibbly's is the most feminine, likely due to the casting of Kim Whalen in the role.
Personality and Traits[]
Nibbly is the hungriest of the Lords in Black. He is a creature entirely defined by hunger and cares only about that which he believes will appear the tastiest to him. In Nerdy Prudes Must Die, he appears holding a lollipop. However, like the rest of the Lords in Black, Nibbly is able to be reasoned with and will use his power for good in exchange for something he wants.

- Physical Manifestation- On the eve of the Hatchetfield Honey Festival, Nibbly is able to take a physical form and walk the Earth for one night a year. Nibbly is also able to appear on Earth when summoned at a Black Altar using the ritual holding court with the void.
- Dimensional Imprisonment- Alongside the other Lords in Black, Nibbly has the ability to pull into and entrap souls in the Black and White.

Roman Murray[]
Roman Murray is a member of the Church of the Starry Children and as a result is a disciple of Nibbly. Roman actively partakes in the worship of Nibbly and every year he partakes in a ritual that allows Nibbly to inhabit a body of pig flesh for one night a year. Alongside this, Roman also helps to plan the Hatchetfield Honey Festival and is a senior judge in the Honey Queen Pageant, which he uses to select a woman to use as a sacrifice to offer to Nibbly every year. In return for his participation in the church and in planning the Honey Queen Pageant, Nibbly gives Roman and the rest of the church wealth and power.
Grace Chasity[]
Grace Chasity is a conduit for the power of Nibbly. Grace initially uses the Black Book to contact the Lords in Black and makes a deal with them to give up the thing she cherishes most in exchange for them trapping Max Jägerman's soul in the Black and White. After this, Grace continues to use Nibbly's power to entrap the souls of all people who she views as being "dirty dudes".
Steph Lauter[]
Steph Lauter is a victim yet ally of Nibbly. Nibbly actively enjoyed taunting Steph. Steph used the Black Book to contact the Lords in Black in the hopes of using their power to entrap Max Jägerman's soul in the Black and White, something which Nibbly agrees with as he wants to lick it. In exchange, the Lords in Black asked for Steph to give up the thing she cherishes most: Pete Spankoffski.
Pete Spankoffski[]
Pete Spankoffski is a victim yet ally of Nibbly. Much like Steph, Nibbly enjoys Pete's suffering and wants to enable it in order to watch it. After using the Black Book to meet with the Lords in Black, Pete was forced to almost give up his life (as he is the thing Steph cherishes the most) in exchange for Max Jägerman's soul being pulled into the Black and White.

Wiggly is Nibbly's brother and one of the Lords in Black. Wiggly is the leader of the Lords in Black and so has the ultimate power within their group and the others are willing to yield to them. All of the Lords in Black act as agents of chaos and sometimes are able to use their power collaboratively to reach a collective goal.

Blinky is Nibbly's brother and one of the Lords in Black. All of the Lords in Black act as agents of chaos and sometimes are able to use their power collaboratively to reach a collective goal.

Trivia[]
- Nibbly's "real" name, "Nibblenephim" is made up of two parts, "nibble", an English word for "biting something gently and repeatedly"[2] and "nephim", that sounds very similar to "nephilim", a word present in the bible describing a people whose identity has been disputed, much like the meaning of the word[3]. It has been argued that the translation or interpretation should be, among others: "giants", "fallen", "those that cause others to fall down", "ones who have fallen" and "the violent ones"[4], it also translates to "volumes" in Hebrew.
- The manner is which Nibbly is portrayed in Honey Queen is reminiscent of the singing mouths featured in the song Nightmare Time.
- Nibbly is due to appear a potential future Nightmare Time episode named Miss Holloween.
