The royal crown polisher is a fish who appears in The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, working as said crown polisher, as well as the PC versions of its video game, and Lights, Camera, Pants!, where he appears as a hot dog vendor.
Description[]
He is a light purple fish who wears big, round, thick glasses, a brown and beige pinafore, decorated with an orange patch on the lower left side, and black shoes. In the video games, he is light olive-green with dark green lips. As a hot dog vendor, he doesn't have glasses and wears a dark tan hat with a fork impaling a hot dog on top and he wears a purple shirt with tan sleeves, as well as an apron, and gray shoes.
Role in movie[]
He is accused of "touching King Neptune's crown," which apparently is a felony worthy of death, or as stated, 20 years in a dungeon. He meekly says that it was his job to touch it, as he was ordered to polish it. Princess Mindy steps in and sets him free before her father could unfairly punish him. This act gains her gratitude from the polisher while angering her father.

The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie (PC game)[]
He appears in "Free Mindy", where it is revealed that King Neptune really did punish him despite Mindy's objection; because Plankton stole his crown, he didn't see a purpose for the polisher anymore, and decided to incarcerate him anyway. He can be found in the dungeon in a cell, where he states that he passes the time counting rats, and he laments that misses his job. Mindy gives him her filthy pocket mirror to polish so she can give it to the squire who wants to check if he looks fine to see Dolly the farmhand.
Lights, Camera, Pants! (PC game)[]
His model was repurposed and redesigned for a new character working as a hot dog vendor at the Fry Cook Museum. SpongeBob compliments his hat, but he assumes he's being rude, until SpongeBob says that he really does like his hat. SpongeBob then asks him to be in the show, and he accepts but only if he can wear his hat and sell hot dogs on set. He also appears as one of the customers SpongeBob has to serve in the Barg'N-Mart 'Mart Madness' mini-game.

- He strikes a familiar resemblance to Patrick and Gary's 1x cousin 2x removed Carl.
- He also distantly resembles C.H. Greenblatt, who was also the designer for Carl, as well as the name.
