Incidental 24, also known as Weight lifter 1 and the weight lifter, is an incidental character who first appears in the episode "Ripped Pants." He is classified as a beach-type incidental.
Description[]
He is a very muscular, bronze-brown colored batfish with dark salmon colored lips, a spiky peach colored dorsal fin, and wears a black speedo. His dorsal fin was originally colored bronze-brown like his skin with a black outline instead of its default brown outline, and his lips had a black outline instead of their default brown outline. The weight lifter/Weight lifter 1 has the same appearance as Incidental 24's old colors variant.
Names[]
Incidental 24 has been given two one time generic names throughout the franchise:
- He is called Frank in the episode "Slide Whistle Stooges."
- An orange colored Incidental 24 is called Tibor in the episode "Welcome to the Bikini Bottom Triangle."
Role in series[]
Incidental 24 has made many notable and speaking appearances as well as non-speaking appearances throughout the series. He commonly appears among other muscular characters such as Larry the Lobster. He is the most commonly used muscular incidental in the series and he was firstly designed to be a bodybuilder at Mussel Beach.

"Ripped Pants"[]
He is seen lifting weights at Mussel Beach with Incidental 24A and Incidental 32.
"MuscleBob BuffPants"[]
He is seen at Goo Lagoon constantly seen hanging around SpongeBob with Anchor Arms. He is later seen as one of the contestants in the anchor toss although he was never seen tossing his anchor during the contest.
"Bubble Buddy"[]
He is seen dancing at Goo Lagoon with Incidental 49, Larry the Lobster, Incidental 32, and Incidental 104. When SpongeBob and Bubble Buddy join them, SpongeBob tells Bubble Buddy to shake his "bubble butt." Incidental 24 and the other dancers all assume that SpongeBob was referring to them which causes them to all blush in embarrassment and flee away due to believing he called them fat. He is later seen eating a stick of celery with Larry, Incidental 32, and Incidental 7 when Larry complains about SpongeBob calling them fat.
"Prehibernation Week" / Tales from Bikini Bottom[]
When Sandy is getting Bikini Bottom citizens to try and help her find SpongeBob, she splits them into teams, "Alpha Team" and "Gold Team." Incidental 24 then yells out, "Gold Team Rules!" He is later seen trying to pass Incidental 4 off as SpongeBob by shaping him into a square.

He is seen to be scared and eager to get out of the arena when the huge guy starts arriving to the stadium.
"SpongeGuard on Duty"[]
He is seen repeatedly tossing Incidental 38A on a rock in the water. Much to his enjoyment.
"Ghost Host"[]
He clashes a gong in the beginning of the inspirational video SpongeBob got for the Flying Dutchman.
"Hocus Pocus"[]
He is seen playing frisbee at Goo Lagoon and accidentally slips on Squidward the ice cream cone, causing SpongeBob to panic.
"To Love a Patty"[]
He is seen at the Krusty Krab eating Krabby Patties with mohawk brute 1 and the tough guy fish.
"Slimy Dancing"[]
When all of the dance contestants start admitting that they cheated by having unknown dancing partners, Incidental 106 pulls Incidental 24 out of his pants and asks the judges if it counted as cheating.
"Slide Whistle Stooges"[]
He was having a heart-to-heart with Incidental 7 until Squidward wolf-whistled with a slide whistle. This resulted in Incidental 24 getting angry and punching an innocent Incidental 114, he then calls Incidental 7 a liar. Incidental 105 then appears leading an angry mob and tells him that Squidward was responsible for the wolf whistle. He and Incidental 7 then join the angry mob and go after Squidward.
"Sun Bleached"[]
He is seen flipping three sun tanned ladies over with a giant spatula at the beginning of the episode.
"Welcome to the Bikini Bottom Triangle"[]
He is seen at the Bikini Bottom Triangle giving Mr. Krabs a massage and tells him to drink plenty of fluids. He later appears back at Bikini Bottom with all the other items from the Bikini Bottom Triangle and is claimed by Incidental 37A.
"Squid Plus One"[]
He is seen weightlifting at Mussel Beach while Squidward was talking to Larry the Lobster.
"Sanctuary!"[]
He is seen as one of the impatient customers forming a line at the Krusty Krab.
"Larry's Gym"[]
He calls Larry the king of the gym which causes the other gym members to cheer for him.
"Sportz?"[]
He is seen carrying the King of Sports' chair along with Incidental 32 and Larry the Lobster.
"The Check-Up"[]
He appears as one of the bodybuilders at Mussel Beach.
"Larry the Floor Manager"[]
He is one of Larry the Lobster's muscular employees at the Healthy Krab.
"Shopping List"[]
SpongeBob slaps his given shopping list on his chest while he happily sings about his shopping spree.
"Squirrel Jelly"[]
He appears at Goo Lagoon during the opening scene.

He cheers after hearing SpongeBob's speech at the Krusty Krab.

He is one of the incidentals who say "aww" from seeing SpongeBob with Drizzle Jr.
"Squid's on a Bus"[]
After Squidward tosses the pillow out of his bus, he accidentally hits Incidental 24 who then believed that the sweet old lady was the one who tossed the pillow at him. He tosses the pillow at the lady which resulted in starting a pillow fight in downtown Bikini Bottom.
"Sandy's Nutty Nieces"[]
He appears as one of Patrick's friends from Glove World!
"Handemonium"[]
He sneaks into Larry's Gym at the beginning of the episode. He later appears getting shoved out of the way by the Chum Bucket glove when it arrives as well as being pushed into the hole by the glove after it beats Mr. Krabs.
"Say Awww!"[]
He is seen helping form a pyramid when the Bikini Bottomites try to escape Q.T.-π for the first time.
"Welcome to Binary Bottom"[]
His "RobotInc" variant is one of the "RobotInc" incidentals that forms an angry mob from downtown Binary Bottom. He eventually gets assimilated to Sandroid with the other robot characters.
"SpongeBob on Parade"[]
He is part of the parade float for Larry's Gym, shown lifting a dumbbell. He falls off the float when Bubble Bass's weight causes it to collapse.
"Buff for Puff"[]
He is seen lifting weights with Incidental 24A on top of a barbell that Larry is lifting.
"Momageddon"[]
He is featured in a deleted scene as one of the many guy friends of the Krusty Krew's dads hanging out at the Krusty Krab where he can be seen tackling Incidental 100 after he plays football with Incidental 41.

He is seen giving Incidental 27 a massage during Rube Goldfish's home tour segment.

He, Incidental 32, and Incidental 24A were seen in the Flying Dutchman's commercial mocking a weak Incidental 81 who was trying to do a bench press until a ghost possess Incidental 81 and grants him super strength, which causes Incidental 81 to toss the large dumbbell on top of the three of them.

When Patrick strolls around town with his new body, Incidental 24 is one of the townspeople admiring him, saying "Genuine beefcake!"
"Family Plotz"[]
He is one of three mourners at a funeral, who gets shocked when Patrick and Squidina crash it and scared away by GrandPat. Incidental 24 runs away from a corpse that Tinkle is carrying. After Tinkle roars at him, his skeleton comes out of his skin in shock, and Tinkle chews on his skin. He then appears at the end, running away after GrandPat comes out of the coffin.

- He has 7 known alternate models: Incidental 24A, Incidental 24B, Incidental 24C, Incidental 24D, Incidental 24E, Incidental 24F, and Incidental 24Q. With Incidentals 24G-P all being unknown, although it is unknown if they do exist for they may likely be prototypes. If they do exist, this would give Incidental 24 a total of at least 17 alternate models.
- He makes his first speaking role in "Prehibernation Week."
- The huge guy was originally considered to be an altered variant of Incidental 24 in "The Fry Cook Games" until he was promoted to be a separate character from him.
- Ironically, both he and the huge guy were portrayed as separate characters during the same scene in the said episode.
