Station Square[2] is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a Soumercan[2] city-state of the United Federation.
History[]
Past[]
At some point in the past, Dr. Ellidy and Nikki went to Station Square's Emerald Coast for a vacation.[3]
During an incident involving the Time Eater, Sonic, alongside an older version of himself, would visit locations from Station Square, though he would eventually forget the events of this incident.[4][5][6]
It did not take long for Station Square became the center of a nasty scheme of Dr. Eggman's that involved using Chaos' power to raze over the entire city and build Eggman Land in its place. Meanwhile, Sonic and his friends would repeatedly go to this place for their own reasons. Eventually, after the crash of the first Egg Carrier, the doctor tried to launch a missile that would destroy the city, but his plans were stopped by Tails. Not too long after, however, Perfect Chaos would attack and flood Station Square, although it was soon defeated by Super Sonic.[1] Some time later, Tails would supposedly visit Station Square and be rewarded with a Chaos Emerald there.[7]
Despite Perfect Chaos' attack destroying Station Square, the city was rebuilt for an unknown period of time.[2]
More recently, Sonic returned to Station Square during the Time Eater incident, where he would revisit the same locations as before while being accompanied by a younger version of himself. This time around, he also had to fight against Perfect Chaos once again.[5][6]
Shattered World Crisis[]
Act One[]
Station Square later became one of the many places hit hardest by the Shattered World Crisis. As such, it was the the first location the Freedom Fighters visited to help the civilians.[2]
Worlds Unite[]
Sonic the Hedgehog was later transported to Station Square through a Genesis Portal during a fight with Zavok, Zor, and Zeena. There, the civilians would cheer the hero on and he would protect them from the vllianous trio. Soon after though, the hedgehog and the Zeti would be transported through another Genesis Portal again.[8] These events were later prevented from ever happening thanks to a time traveling Xander Payne.[9]
