Trivia[]
- On page 100, the guide states "One of the Sonic titles was to have a boss that featured a hedgehog with a flaming skull but Sega nixed it because "you don't show Sonic's skeleton."" It is unknown which Sonic title the book refers to in the statement.
- Of note is that Sonic the Hedgehog CD features unused graphics of Sonic being electrocuted, showing his skeleton. An early version of the opening cutscene for Sonic Unleashed also shows Sonic's skeleton while electrocuted. The book's claim that Sega did not want Sonic's skeleton to be shown possibly explains the exclusion of it in both games where it was planned to appear.
